MarCom Group Garners Platinum Award

FAIRFAX, Va., — MarCom Group is proud to announce it received the 2022 Platinum Award for Government Marketing from Summit International Awards (SIA) for its work supporting the Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) in their civilian recruitment efforts.

MarCom Group worked with AFCS to fill 36 senior-level vacancies for the newly-established United States Space Force (USSF) headquarters in Washington, DC. The integrated marketing campaign included a landing page with animation effects, social media activity, email marketing, and paid advertising to target qualified job seekers.

 

“This award is an acknowledgment of MarCom Group’s commitment and enthusiasm in helping the United States Space Force accomplish their recruitment objectives with a multi-channel marketing campaign. By providing remarkable creative experiences through advanced technologies, like USSF’s interactive three-dimensional (parallax) landing page, we are thrilled to have contributed to successful campaigns for such an integral part of protecting our nation,” stated Bryan Clark, MarCom Group’s Creative Director.

SIA is an internationally recognized award forum where marketing and communications businesses compete for three top recognitions in the following categories: Summit Creative Award, Marketing Effectiveness Award, and Emerging Media Award. SIA has been granting marketing awards for nearly 30 years. In 2022, International judges reviewed more than 1,900 submissions from companies across the globe for the Marketing Effectiveness Award category. MarCom Group earned Platinum, which constituted only six percent of the overall submissions, according to the SIA website.

“We are incredibly proud of our team for developing a campaign that was worthy of this award and for developing a campaign that drove incredible success and filled vacancies imperative to the ramping up of the United States Space Force’s headquarters. We get to wake up every day and work magic that really makes a difference for our nation. The only thing better than that is being recognized for that magic by international award agencies like Summit International Awards,” stated Lauren Rainford, AFCS Account Manager.
