Senior Graphic Designer

Job Description

The Senior Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating compelling advertising and marketing materials across a range of platforms, including print, digital, and out-of-home (OOH). This position emphasizes the production of visually engaging campaigns, incorporating design for digital ads, social media content, email templates, and other promotional assets. While the designer will occasionally contribute to branding projects, the primary focus will be on executing creative advertising concepts that align with client goals and resonate with target audiences. Collaboration with the creative team is central to this role, ensuring that all work meets brand standards and achieves strategic objectives. 

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • The Senior Graphic Designer position does not supervise other employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with the creative director, art director, and other team members to understand project goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.
  • Develops creative concepts and prepares drafts of design work for internal review.
  • Creates and refines materials for client presentations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client objectives.
  • Incorporates feedback and revises projects as necessary to meet project expectations.
  • Prepares production-ready files, adhering to specifications and ensuring high-quality outputs for print and digital platforms.
  • Assists in maintaining the visual consistency and integrity of brand assets across all projects.
  • Supports the Creative team with ad hoc design tasks or assignments as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Exceptional visual storytelling and communication skills.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Figma or similar collaborative design tools is a plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics applications (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance and captioning best practices.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Education & Experience

  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant experience and exceptional design skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in graphic design or a related field.
  • Extensive experience designing for a variety of media (print, digital, OOH) is essential.
